October Impact Report

November 6, 2019

October was a very busy month for Mattenga’s. We were able to do a lot in our community and help a lot of group

We were thrilled to be a part of Steubing Ranch’s National Night Out on Oct. 1st and meet some of the community near our O’Connor location.

We also provided pizzas to Belmont Park’s National Night Out in Schertz. They had a great group of people show up for food and fun.

We participated in Longs Creek Elementary’s movie night on Oct. 4th. It was good to see everyone and we were glad to be a part of the event for the second year in a row.

On Oct. 5th, we donated lunch to the “Love Where You Live - Schertz” group. We definitely love our community and appreciate everyone.

On Oct. 7th, we hosted another Spirit Night for the Samuel Clemens HS Band.

We stopped by the Cibolo City Council meeting to bring them some dinner before their meeting on Oct. 8th.

On Oct. 9th, we donated pizzas to the Schertz Meet the Candidates event.

We were blessed to be asked to partner with Christian Bros. Automotive on Oct. 12th and provide lunch as they hosted National Service Day. They set aside a few hours that Saturday to do free oil changes and other simple repairs for those in need in our community.

On Oct. 14, we donated 4 pizzas to the Boy Scount Troop 828 for their Eagle Scout project. It’s a pleasure to be part of seeing these young men mature and serve this community.

Mattenga’s donated pizzas to the Clemens Varsity football team’s weekly dinner on Oct. 17th and helped feed the Mighty Clemens HS Buffalo Band on Friday, 18th.

On Oct. 23, we hosted a fundraiser for Steele HS Project Graduation. We were glad to support such a great group.

On Oct. 24th, Mattenga’s, in conjunction with the Schertz Police Dept., officially presented the Guadalupe Children’s Advocacy Center with their check from our Pizza with Police event.

Mattenga’s hosted the Arsenal 05 Soccer Spirit Night on Oct. 29 to help their team raise money for their competitions.

We also hosted Paschal Elementary on Oct. 30 for another Spirit Night.
